Training Philosophy
MITS Football provides specific, in-depth and personalised training for players of all ages and ability. As players require more individualised training outside of their club football, our private and semi-private sessions are intense yet educational, allowing our players to obtain game-related skills that are applicable to all aspects of the world game.

Position-Specific Training
Each position on a football pitch requires a different set of skills in order to become world-class in that position. Whether its crossing for a winger, striking for a forward or tackling for a defender, we are able to adapt each session to meet the needs of the player.
Technical Analysis
Players no matter whether they’re young or old, will continuously need to refine their technique for multiple aspects of their game. MITS Football looks to break down techniques, coaching the player through cues and phases in order for them to become self-aware of the potential errors in their technique and how they can work to fix these.
Football Conditioning
Whether its pre-season and a player needs to be ready for Matchday 1, or a player is returning from an injury and needs extra work in order to be match fit, we provide the player with what is required to get there. Through integration with MITS Fitness programming, our coaches provide players with skills programs that test their aerobic and anaerobic capacity, improving their ability to execute skills to high level despite being under a heavy load of fatigue.
Group Sessions
Across multiple locations across Melbourne, our training sessions are meticulously designed to enhance technical proficiency while immersing players in the dynamic and competitive nature of real gameplay. Our structured approach goes beyond fundamental skill development, focusing on refining dribbling, passing, ball control, and tactical decision-making to ensure players are prepared for game-day scenarios.
We offer a progressive pathway through multiple levels of group sessions, accommodating players of all abilities—from beginners discovering their passion for the sport to high-performance athletes seeking additional elite-level training alongside like-minded peers.
Our sessions incorporate high-intensity drills designed to develop technical precision under pressure, small-sided games that foster teamwork and quick decision-making, and tactical exercises that replicate real match situations.
