Our staff experiences combined had involvement with 15 Top 100 players on both the WTA and ATP Tours as well as over 15 Top 100 ITF Juniors, alongside Davis Cup, Federation Cup, Hopman Cup and Grand Slams.

Dean Bleazby
PROGRAM MANAGER
Joining with his mentor and former coach Michael Baroch over 30 years ago, firstly as a junior player with big goals and ambitions, to then a career coach and right hand man to his mentor. Working for many years with some of the world’s best juniors and travelling the world coaching on the ITF junior tour with his charges, Dean turned his hand to coaching some ATP/WTA players and took his coaching to new levels.

Kyle August
COACH
Kyle August is an integral part of the MITS Tennis team in Singapore. He has had over 9 years experience in coaching in New Zealand, Australia, and Vietnam. Playing at a high junior level he has been coached by top international Coaches including Jeff Simpson (New Zealand Davis Cup Captain for 16 Years) and David Lewis. Kyle began his coaching journey with 9 years coaching experience in New Zealand and Australia, as well as a stint at the MITS Melbourne base before his move to Singapore. While working with the elite players Kyle also has extensive knowledge in ANZ Hot Shots.

Shyam Vithlani
COACH
Shyam joined us at MITS In January 2020, originally from the UK, during his playing time he competed in the National Junior Tennis League, Schools, College and University, making the National mixed double finals. Shyam has been coaching for the past 14 years, and has a wealth of experience teaching children and adults. As well as being the Head coach at the Hampshire Court in the UK, He has also coached in the USA , Shanghai and Singapore.

Jaroslav Frei
COACH
Jaroslav Frei, known as Jara, is a highly experienced coach from the Czech Republic with 15 years of coaching expertise. His philosophy emphasises the importance of details, fundamentals, fun, and cardio-based exercises. Jara has trained ATP Top 40 player Jiri Lehecka at his own tennis academy and has coached in various countries, including Oman and the Maldives, where he ran cardio tennis sessions and developed tennis programs for locals.

Our Junior Development Program introduces young players to tennis through fun, engaging and progressive coaching. Using Functional Perceptual Motor Skills (FPMS) alongside modified equipment, children develop coordination, movement skills and confidence while building strong foundations for their tennis journey.
